Strategic support to move your website project forward.
Content Strategy for Agencies | Non-Profits | Small Businesses
When your plate is full, I’m here to help.
No matter how well you plan, everyone hits that moment when there’s simply more work than time to do it.
Maybe a big project landed when everyone is already at capacity, or a key team member is going out on a well-deserved leave. Or maybe a project that’s been haunting your to-do list for months is now suddenly urgent.
Whether you’re an agency looking to add capacity to your busy team, a small business whose old website needs a little extra love, or a non-profit on the brink of a daunting website redesign, I’m here to help you move your project forward so you can get back to business.
Contractor Support for Digital & Creative Agencies
I embed into project teams to provide senior content strategy & UX services that increase internal capacity, move projects forward and keep clients happy.
I can support your team with:
Deliverable or project-based content strategy & UX support (think: content audits, strategy documents, information architecture, content development, wireframes)
Sabbatical or parental leave coverage
Project leadership and account/client management
Staff mentorship and skills development
Business development, scoping and discovery
Advising on service-line development and growth
Trainings on Wordpress management and other web-related best practices
Consulting Services for Non-Profits & Small Businesses
I work directly with service-oriented and mission-driven organizations who need help making their website shine. Whether that means a strategic refresh, a new site, or ongoing support, I can help you identify and implement a right-sized solution.
I can help you move forward with:
New website RFP development, vendor selection and project management
Strategic refresh of an existing site (revising content, architecture, page layout, etc.)
Content development and messaging
Conducting user research & usability testing
Ongoing website content management and support
Training new staff on site management and web editing best practices
Squarespace website design and development for small businesses and new initiatives
A user-centered approach
I bring a user-centered approach to all my collaborations. That means I’ll always start with genuine curiosity about the needs, challenges and perspectives of the people you’re trying to reach, to make sure the plans and materials we create will drive action.
A good user experience isn’t only for your end-users — it’s for you, too. I’ll get clear on your team’s capacity, skills and challenges, to ensure that the work we do together is scaled appropriately and realistic to implement well into the future.

What clients think
“We approached Jill for help with a wildly different approach to website-based messaging for our organization. From our first meeting, Jill demonstrated curiosity about our approach, and the foundational intent behind it. She identified the “North Star” for our project, expertly guided us, and kept us on target. We could not be happier with the process, the project, and the outcome.”
Maria Card // Director of Human Resources, University of Washington Applied Physics Lab
“Jill has an incredible ability to see the heart of your work and bring it to life. She took the ideas in my head and turned them into a website that feels like me. Thoughtful, intuitive, and masterful.”

A bit about me
Jill Becker // Founder & Principal
I find joy in helping mission-driven agencies, businesses and non-profits create websites that are rooted in strategy, easy to maintain, and built for growth. Here’s how I got here:
I spent the first half of my career on communications & marketing teams at non-profits and in higher education. That means I deeply understand the impact of time and resource scarcity at work, and I know how to be nimble and creative to get the job done.
I honed my strategic skills as a Director and VP at Pyramid Communications, a full-service creative and communications agency based in Seattle. In my time there, I led the creation and redesign of more than 85 websites; built a content strategy and UX practice from the ground up; developed messaging and strategies for clients big and small; and led countless trainings and workshops.
I have deep experience on both side of the website redesign process, and those dual perspectives shape my approach. With agencies, I understand your process, your pace, and what your clients expect, so I can slot into your team without a long ramp-up. With non-profits and small businesses, I understand the need for a partner who gets your priorities, respects your budget, and doesn't leave you with something you can't maintain.
Let’s work together.
